About this program
The BC Festival of the Arts Legacy Fund Grant provides City of Kamloops financial assistance to individuals or groups for development, presentation, or competition in visual, performing, literary, media, and interdisciplinary arts. Eligible categories include personal artistic development, community artistic development through workshops or seminars, and travel assistance for important cultural events outside the Kamloops region. Grants may cover up to one-third of project costs to a maximum of $1,000 and are reviewed three times each year.

Eligible applicants are Kamloops individuals or groups seeking support for artistic development, community arts development, or travel connected to visual, performing, literary, media, or interdisciplinary arts.
Requirements
- Applicant must be an individual or group connected to Kamloops.
- Project must fit personal development, community development, or travel assistance criteria in the arts.
- Application must include a project description, artist or organization biography, revenue and expense statement, and two reference letters.
