Starter Company Plus provides training, mentoring, and potential grant funding for eligible Burlington entrepreneurs starting or growing a small business.
About this program
Halton Region Small Business Centre delivers Starter Company Plus for entrepreneurs in Burlington and other Halton municipalities. The program supports eligible participants with business training, mentoring, business-plan development, and the opportunity to receive grant funding for startup, expansion, or business purchase costs after successful participation in the local program.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are Ontario residents 18 or older who are starting, expanding, or buying a small business in Halton Region, including Burlington, and meet the local Starter Company Plus intake requirements.
Requirements
- Applicant must be 18 years of age or older.
- Applicant must be an Ontario resident and eligible to work in Canada.
- Business must be located in Halton Region or proposed for Halton Region.
