The Spark Tourism Micro-grant provides $1,000 to $5,000 to new and emerging Yukon tourism entrepreneurs developing visitor experiences and services.
About this program
The Yukon Spark Tourism Micro-grant supports new and emerging entrepreneurs offering visitor experiences and services in the Yukon. The program helps applicants bring tourism ideas to market, test new experiences, carry out research and development, build websites and branding, develop capacity, purchase supplies and equipment, and conduct community engagement. The program is not intended for established entities expanding existing offerings.
Eligibility
Yukon-based individuals, businesses, First Nations governments, First Nation development entities, and nonprofits may apply for new or emerging tourism experiences or services.
Requirements
- Applicant must be Yukon-based.
- Project must involve a new or emerging visitor experience or tourism service in Yukon.
- Applicant may be an individual, business, First Nations government, First Nation development entity, or nonprofit organization.
