The Fonds PME MTL and Fonds locaux de solidarité Montréal (FLS Montréal) support start-ups, growing companies, social economy enterprises, for-profit companies, and cooperatives located in Montreal. Loans serve as financial levers and can secure additional financing sources. Companies receive ongoing support, advice, and technical assistance from PME MTL experts. Applications are evaluated by a joint investment committee specific to each local hub. Interest rates are variable based on assessed risk. Minimum 20% personal investment in project costs required.
Eligibility
Canadian citizens or permanent residents operating in Montreal, with head office in Quebec, registered in Registre d'entreprises du Québec. Must demonstrate entrepreneurial experience and invest at least 20% of project costs personally.
