About this program
The City of Windsor Economic Revitalization Business Retention and Expansion Grant is intended to support existing businesses that make eligible investments in expansion, retention, or redevelopment. The grant can help offset increased municipal property taxes resulting from approved improvements under the Economic Revitalization Community Improvement Plan.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are existing businesses, property owners, or developers undertaking qualifying retention or expansion projects in Windsor under the Economic Revitalization CIP.
Requirements
- Project must meet Economic Revitalization CIP eligibility requirements.
- Applicant must be undertaking eligible business retention, expansion, or redevelopment activity.
- Project must involve eligible investment and may need to increase property assessment.
