About this program
NB Power's Business Rebate Program, delivered through SaveEnergyNB, helps businesses offset the costs of energy efficient products and equipment, including lighting, heating, cooling and ventilation, commercial kitchen equipment, compressors, refrigeration systems, motors and controls, and water heating systems. The program provides up to 25% back on eligible project costs, with a lifetime cap of $250,000 per eligible project site. Pre-approval is mandatory before starting any project.
Eligibility
Businesses must be located in New Brunswick and classified under Small Industrial or General Service 1 or 2 rate schedule of NB Power (or similarly classified non-NB Power customers including Saint John Energy, Perth-Andover Light Commission, or Edmundston Energy). Agricultural operations (including farms) and churches are eligible. Eligible projects must decrease energy use and lead to a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions.
