Saskatoon Regional Economic Development Authority (SREDA) Business Support
Municipal-regional economic development agency providing advisory, attraction, and incentive support for businesses in Saskatoon region.
About this program
Saskatoon Regional Economic Development Authority (SREDA) supports business attraction, retention, and expansion in the Saskatoon metropolitan region. SREDA provides confidential business consulting, site selection support, workforce intelligence, market data, and connections to provincial and federal funding programs (STSI, SCII, SLIM, PrairiesCan, etc.). SREDA does not typically provide direct grants but plays a critical role connecting Saskatoon-region businesses with capital. SREDA also coordinates sector strategies in agtech, mining/minerals, advanced manufacturing, biotech, and technology. Regina is served by a similar organization (Economic Development Regina), and other Saskatchewan communities have municipal economic development offices.
