Communitech Hub
Waterloo Region innovation hub providing programs and capital connections for Ontario tech scale-ups.
About this program
Communitech is the Waterloo-based innovation hub funded by federal and provincial partners. It runs programs across the technology venture lifecycle: Fierce Founders (for women-identifying founders), True North (executive growth program), TalentLab (technical talent placement), and the Communitech Outposts (helping Ontario companies expand globally). Communitech is a not-for-profit; ventures don't pay for membership but engage as part of FedDev RIE and Ontario provincial programs.
