About this program
The City of Richmond Hill Facade Improvement Grant helps improve the appearance and function of commercial and mixed-use buildings in eligible Community Improvement Plan areas. Approved applicants may receive matching reimbursement for eligible facade work such as storefront restoration, exterior materials, lighting, accessibility-related exterior improvements, and other visible building enhancements.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are property owners or authorized tenants of eligible commercial or mixed-use properties in Richmond Hill Community Improvement Plan areas.
Requirements
- Property must be in an eligible Richmond Hill Community Improvement Plan area.
- Applicant must apply before beginning facade improvement work.
- Project must include eligible exterior facade improvements.
