About this program
The St. John's Neighbourhood Matching Fund supports resident-led projects that improve neighbourhoods, build community connection, and create local public benefit. Eligible projects can include small improvements, beautification, community events, gardens, placemaking, and other initiatives that involve resident participation and matching contributions through volunteer time, donated goods, services, or funds.
Eligibility
Neighbourhood groups, resident groups, and eligible community organizations in St. John's may apply for resident-led neighbourhood projects.
Requirements
- Project must take place in St. John's and benefit a local neighbourhood.
- Applicant must be a neighbourhood group, resident group, or eligible community organization.
- Project must include community participation and matching contributions.
