About this program
The Community Large Scale Event Investment Program supports local not-for-profit organizations hosting large-scale, sustainable festivals or events that enhance quality of life and attract visitors to Strathcona County. Eligible events must take place on County land or in a County facility, be open to the public, have estimated attendance of at least 1,000 people, have a budget of at least $15,000, and promote local hotels and businesses. The County contribution matches 50 percent of the event budget up to a maximum of $15,000.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are Strathcona County-based non-profit organizations incorporated for at least one year and in good standing with Alberta Corporate Registry.

- Event must be held on County land or in a County facility.
- Event must be open to the public and have estimated attendance of 1,000 people or more.
