About this program
The City of Mississauga Cultural Festivals and Celebrations Grant supports arts, heritage, and cultural festivals and celebrations that serve Mississauga residents and visitors. The program funds eligible not-for-profit organizations producing public cultural events that contribute to community identity, cultural expression, and local vibrancy. The 2026 cycle closed in October 2025 and the City says the program will reopen in August 2026.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are not-for-profit organizations producing arts, heritage, or cultural festivals and celebrations in Mississauga.
Requirements
- Applicant must be an eligible not-for-profit organization.
- Event must be an arts, heritage, or cultural festival or celebration in Mississauga.
- Event must provide public community benefit.
