About this program
ERA's Energy Savings for Business program advances capacity building and incentivizes retrofit projects for industrial, commercial, and manufacturing facilities in Alberta. The program supports deployment and adoption of commercially available energy-saving technologies including high-efficiency motors, lighting, HVAC, refrigeration, controls, building envelope improvements, and process upgrades. Incentives offset a portion of eligible project costs, helping businesses achieve faster payback on energy efficiency investments. The program complements ERA's Industrial Transformation Challenge by funding more standardized, off-the-shelf retrofit projects.
Eligibility
Alberta industrial, commercial, agricultural, and manufacturing facilities undertaking eligible energy efficiency retrofits; technologies must meet program specifications; pre-approval typically required.
