Combined loan and mentorship program providing up to $60,000 in financing plus 2 years of mentorship to young Canadian entrepreneurs aged 18-39.
About this program
Futurpreneur Canada is a national non-profit that provides startup loans and mentorship to Canadian entrepreneurs aged 18-39. The standard offering combines up to $20,000 from Futurpreneur with up to $40,000 in BDC matching financing, for a total of up to $60,000. All loans are bundled with mandatory two-year hands-on mentorship from a Futurpreneur-matched mentor. Specialized streams include the Black Entrepreneur Startup Program, Indigenous Entrepreneur Startup Program, and Newcomer Entrepreneur Program with culturally tailored support.
Eligibility
Canadian citizens or permanent residents aged 18-39 who are launching or have recently launched (within 36 months) a for-profit business in Canada. Must be majority Canadian-owned (50%+).
Requirements
- Register at futurpreneur.ca and complete the eligibility quiz
- Develop a business plan using Futurpreneur's templates
- Submit application with business plan, financials, and cash flow projections
