About this program
The City of London Vacant Commercial and Industrial Building Conversion Loan Program helps owners reactivate vacant buildings in designated Community Improvement Plan areas. Eligible projects can convert empty commercial or industrial space to new productive uses, supporting business occupancy, redevelopment, and neighbourhood revitalization.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are owners or authorized tenants of vacant commercial or industrial buildings in designated London Community Improvement Plan areas.
Requirements
- Building must be a vacant commercial or industrial property in an eligible Community Improvement Plan area.
- Project must convert or rehabilitate the building for an eligible new use.
- Applicant must apply before starting eligible work.
