About this program
The Major Office Development Charges Deferral is a Phase 1 incentive under Vaughan's Community and Economic Development Fund for 2026 to 2030. The incentive is designed to help eligible major office projects move forward by reducing upfront development cost pressure through deferred development charges. Projects must meet program eligibility, be located in an applicable Community Improvement Plan area, and complete the City's pre-consultation and application process.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are developers, commercial property owners, and businesses undertaking qualifying major office developments in eligible Vaughan areas.
Requirements
- Project must be an eligible major office development in Vaughan.
- Project must be located in an applicable Community Improvement Plan eligible area.
- Applicant must book a pre-consultation meeting with the City.
