About this program
Starter Company Plus at the Hamilton Business Centre is a training and mentorship program for businesses less than two years old. The program provides business planning, marketing, social media, bookkeeping, financial management training, ongoing mentorship, and opportunities for eligible approved businesses to receive up to $5,000 in grant funding. The Fall 2026 cohort waitlist is open until September 7, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are Hamilton entrepreneurs with a qualifying small business less than two years old who meet Ontario Starter Company Plus and Hamilton Business Centre criteria.
Requirements
- Applicant must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
- Applicant must be 18 years of age or older.
- Applicant must not be attending school or planning to return to school while enrolled.
