About this program
The Impact Loan, operated by Ignite (formerly Planet Hatch/Knowledge Park) in partnership with ACOA, provides between $5,000 and $50,000 in working capital and startup financing to entrepreneurs in the Greater Fredericton Region. The personal loan supports startup and expansion projects across all sectors. Beyond capital, Ignite provides mentorship, business coaching, and access to its entrepreneurial ecosystem including Planet Hatch incubator services.
Eligibility
Entrepreneurs located within the Greater Fredericton Region (within Fredericton city limits). Available to startups and existing businesses pursuing expansion projects.
Requirements

- Business plan or expansion plan
- Personal guarantee may be required
