About this program
York Region's Community Investment Fund invests in local initiatives delivered by not-for-profit community agencies and other partners. Funded initiatives target gaps in human services, complement or enhance Regional programs, and deliver on Regional Council policy priorities. The 2026 funded projects list includes initiatives serving youth, Black mental health, housing, homelessness prevention, food access, newcomer supports, and community capacity across York Region communities including Vaughan.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are not-for-profit community agencies and partners delivering human service initiatives in York Region, including projects serving Vaughan residents.
Requirements
- Applicant must be a not-for-profit community agency or eligible partner.
- Initiative must serve York Region residents, including Vaughan where applicable.
- Project must address human service gaps or Regional Council policy priorities.
