Grants support eligible residential conversion and development projects in downtown Windsor.
About this program
The Downtown Windsor Residential Development Grant encourages the creation of new residential units in the downtown Community Improvement Plan area. The program helps offset eligible costs for projects that convert upper floors or underused spaces to residential units or otherwise add residential density downtown.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are property owners or developers creating qualifying residential units in the Downtown Windsor Community Improvement Plan project area.
Requirements
- Property must be located in the Downtown Windsor Community Improvement Plan project area.
- Project must create eligible new residential units.
- Applicant must apply before starting eligible work.
