Cape Breton-area CBDCs provide financing for eligible immigrant entrepreneurs starting or expanding local businesses.
About this program
CBDC's Immigrant Entrepreneur Loan helps newcomer entrepreneurs access repayable financing for startup, acquisition, expansion, modernization, equipment, or working capital needs. Eligible Cape Breton applicants can apply through their local CBDC and receive business counselling alongside financing review.
Eligibility
Immigrant entrepreneurs in eligible Cape Breton CBDC service areas may apply for business startup, acquisition, or growth financing.
Requirements
- Applicant must be an immigrant entrepreneur.
- Business must be located in an eligible Cape Breton CBDC service area.
- Applicant must submit a business plan or project plan.
