About this program
CBDC's Social Enterprise Loan supports organizations and enterprises that combine business activity with social, cultural, environmental, or community benefit. Summerside-area social enterprises can apply through CBDC Central PEI for repayable financing for startup, expansion, modernization, equipment, or working capital needs.
Eligibility
Social enterprises in the CBDC Central PEI service area, including Summerside, may apply for business financing tied to social, cultural, environmental, or community benefit.
Requirements
- Applicant must operate or propose an eligible social enterprise in the CBDC Central PEI service area.
- Project must include a social, cultural, environmental, or community benefit.
- Applicant must submit a business plan or project plan.
