About this program
The City of Greater Sudbury Strategic Core Areas Community Improvement Plan includes a Facade Improvement Grant to help property owners and business tenants improve commercial building exteriors. The program supports approved storefront, signage, lighting, accessibility, and facade upgrades that strengthen core-area streetscapes and business districts.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are property owners or authorized tenants of eligible commercial or mixed-use properties in Greater Sudbury strategic core areas.
Requirements
- Property must be located in an eligible Strategic Core Areas Community Improvement Plan area.
- Applicant must apply before starting eligible facade improvement work.
- Project must include eligible exterior building, storefront, signage, lighting, or accessibility improvements.
