About this program
MaRS Discovery District is one of North America's largest innovation hubs, located in downtown Toronto. While MaRS is not a direct grant provider, it operates programs that connect Ontario ventures with capital, market opportunities, and corporate partners across health, cleantech, fintech, and enterprise software. Programs include MaRS Capital Connect, sector-specific advisory practices (Cleantech, Health, Fintech, Enterprise), Mission from MaRS (challenges and pilots with corporate partners), and physical lab/office space in the MaRS Centre.
Eligibility
Ontario-based high-growth startups and scale-ups in health, cleantech, fintech, and enterprise software. Some programs target specific stages (e.g., seed, Series A) and have geographic or sector criteria.
Requirements
- Submit a venture profile via marsdd.com to engage with an advisor
- Participate in advisory meetings to assess fit and identify suitable programs
- Apply to specific MaRS programs as relevant (Capital Connect, sector cohorts)
