SaskPower/SaskEnergy Commercial Energy Optimization Program (CEOP)
Provincial utility commercial energy efficiency incentives up to $100,000 per project per fuel type for Saskatchewan commercial customers.
About this program
The Commercial Energy Optimization Program (CEOP) is jointly delivered by SaskPower and SaskEnergy in partnership with the Government of Canada, administered by CLEAResult. Incentive Services provide financial incentives covering up to 50% of eligible project costs to a maximum of $100,000 per project per fuel type (separate $100,000 caps for electricity and natural gas projects). Eligible projects include HVAC upgrades, variable frequency drives (VFDs), building envelope improvements, building automation, energy management systems, and other non-lighting projects at $0.13/kWh. A prescriptive lighting incentive ($6-$184/unit) is available for one-to-one LED replacements. Manufacturing/processing/extraction facilities use the separate Industrial Energy Optimization Program instead.
Eligibility
Saskatchewan commercial customers connected to the SaskPower-controlled grid (and SaskEnergy natural gas customers for gas projects); businesses with annual energy usage under 2 GWh for the small/medium business stream; manufacturing/processing/extraction facilities are NOT eligible (use industrial program instead).
Requirements
- SaskPower commercial account (and SaskEnergy for gas projects)
- Non-manufacturing/extraction commercial facility
- Eligible energy efficiency project type
