About this program
The City of Red Deer Community Safety and Wellness Grant supports projects that increase the resilience of vulnerable citizens, improve basic needs security, enhance community safety, and build relationships between citizens, communities, and programs. The program allocated $150,000 for initiatives aligned with the Community Safety Strategy, with eligible projects able to request up to $25,000. Projects must relate to community safety issues at individual, family, peer, neighbourhood, or community levels.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are community organizations and project partners delivering safety and wellness initiatives that serve vulnerable citizens or improve community safety in Red Deer.
Requirements
- Project must align with the vision and goals of Red Deer's Community Safety Strategy.
- Project must focus on community safety issues at an individual, family, peer, neighbourhood, or community level.
- Funding request may not exceed $25,000.
