About this program
The Edmonton Storefront Improvement Program provides matching grants to commercial property owners and business tenants to improve the exterior appearance of storefronts and small commercial buildings in Edmonton's Business Improvement Areas (BIAs). Funding covers up to 50% of eligible costs to a maximum of $20,000 per property for façade improvements, signage, awnings, lighting, painting, masonry, windows, and exterior accessibility. The program supports the revitalization of Edmonton's commercial corridors and main streets.
Eligibility
Commercial property owners or business tenants (with property owner consent) operating within an Edmonton Business Improvement Area; project must improve building façade visible from public right-of-way.
